Corporate Info
It
is not generally realized that the world is facing a monumental crisis
in relation to the chronic lack of housing and that this will continue
to exponentially multiply as in just 100 years the population explodes
from 2.5 billion in 1950 to 9 billion by 2050. So even if everybody had
a home today, we would need to build homes for 3,000,000,000 people.
The
world desperately needs a super fast track construction system supported
by innovative building materials and the trained manpower to build the
hundreds of millions of homes needed in just the next few decades.
The
Quickwall Construction College focuses on practical hands-on skill training
to achieve effective experience and is geared to handle multi-cultural
and multi-lingual teaching in line with the aspirations of addressing
a truly global issue.
Savvy
Licensed Contractors can now utilize gangs of specialist skilled construction
workers from the College, allowing them to be in a position to provide
higher quality housing for a much lower price in a much quicker period.

Methodology
It is our objective to assist Governments
meet their social housing objectives by providing Technology Transfer
via assisting the Construction Industry Development Board to benefit
local Developers or Main Contractors by making the transition
from obsolete conventional building materials and antiquated building
methods to achieve a quantum leap in quality, durability, expediency
and cost savings. To achieve this, the Quickwall Construction
College acts as a supplier to the Developer or Main Contractor
in a Supply and Fit capacity.
The Quickwall Construction College is inevitably
much cheaper for the Developer or Main Contractor as the system
itself is substantially more efficient. This is further supported
and value added by the extraordinary high quality of workmanship
and finish that is provided for a far superior end product.
|
This association is perfect for large housing projects
like high volume low and mid cost housing, large hotels or satellite
city developments.
At the completion of the development the Developer
has the option to use the established gang of skilled workers that are
experienced in a superior method of construction who are available to
them for future developments.
How
it all began...
Quickwall
technology started in 1974 where their was a need to develop a range
of colorful waterproof coatings for one of the most aggressive environment
imaginable - The Australian salt water swimming pool.
Base technology was extrapolated
from the State Federal Highways committee USA where polymer modified
cement was used to protect steel reinforced concrete roads and bridges
from de-icing salts, traffic wear, expansion and contraction, water
migration, carbon monoxide degradation, hot summers.
Specialized pool and waterproofing coatings
were then developed by the Quickwall chemists that were so effective
(And still remain in place some 32 years later without any sign
of defect ) that in the late seventies, manufacturing and application
advanced to include decorative and protective wall coatings. |

1980s
Research and development extended into a number of Building Systems,
testing and supporting patents. Quickwall in 1992 ceased contracting
to commence full time manufacturing and registered the Quickwall
trademark. Quickwall now an industry leader in Polymer technology
specialized in Polymer Modified Cements as they clearly have an
excellent failure free track record in the coating industry. Quickwall
are accredited government suppliers of decorative and protective
architectural coatings systems, Polymer fibre reinforced cements,
waterproofing composites, genuine membrane paints, ceiling, floor
and wall finishes for both Exterior and Interior applications.
1990s
Quickwall identified the future global housing crisis and commenced
research and development on fast track low cost housing, The QuickPanel
and QuickEasy systems were used to construct many thousands of low
cost homes in Sabah, Malaysia. This reinforced the realization that
the world seriously needs a total solution to global housing on
a massive scale.
2000
Quickwall commenced research and development on a new type of composite
building material that would have characteristics like no other
material on earth. Late 2005 this was completed and certified testing
by Australian authorities confirmed a total success. Work then commenced
on innovative new technology manufacturing equipment to support
a new distribution method to avoid massive warehousing infrastructure,
as is necessary with competitors. In late 2007 this equipment was
perfected and sheeting to replace gypsum board and interior wall
panels were produced in Australia.
During this time period the QuickStud, QuickBlock
and QuickLevel construction systems were developed and tested, as
with previous construction systems they were very well complemented
due the the quality and characteristics of the QuickFinish coating
systems. Being an innovator, Quickwall has continuously met with
resistance from a closed or conservative mind-set and as such have
developed these various systems specifically to suit the comfort
zone of engineering practices of various regions around the world.
The new building material, mobile on-site distribution and construction
systems are the most advanced on earth and we are now focused on
establishing the infrastructure to take it global.

2006
Hence the requirement for the Quickwall Construction College. Late
2006 work commenced on establishing a truly multi-national, multi-lingual
training facility in London, England and early 2007 opened in the
University of East London. This focuses on two categories, namely
IPRS (Insulation Plaster Render System) and also the technology
transfer of the Construction Technologies.
Quickwall Construction College Ltd. shall provide
Supply and Fit solutions to Large Projects and therefore shall build
a facility in that country and continue this expansion strategy
throughout the world.
Developers shall then have access to the Quickwall
system by Supply & Fit of Walls or by being a Licensed Contractor
and using the now trained construction tradesmen in their construction
projects using these phenomenal technologies and therefore achieving
an unfair advantage in the market. |
2007
Late 2007 an agreement was confirmed to establish
a Quickwall Construction College in Ajman, UAE of which will be a full
scale QuickBlock and QuickFinish manufacturing and training facility.
The new 2,500 sqm factory and offices expanding to 5,000 sqm also has
12,000 sqm of storage with a production capacity of nearly 6,000,000 sqm
of QuickBlock and QuickFinish per annum.
2008
The Quickwall Construction College is now proud
to be in the Due Diligence process with many Mega-Projects throughout
the world and very much look forward to making a substantial and sustainable
contribution in these countries.
