TRADITIONAL
RENDER is polymer modified dual purpose traditional cement
render for
(A) obtaining a traditional sponged finish render, or
(B) preparing most substrates as a base coat.

| Surface preparation |
: |
Ensure substrate to be coated is clean and free of dirt, dust,
oil grease or any loose material. |
| Application |
: |
1. Pour approximately 4 litres of clean water into clean empty 20
lt pail.
2. Slowly add TRADITIONAL RENDER
to the water and mix with slow speed / high torque drill using GPML
130mm mixer. Note that high speed mixing
or extended mixing time will deteriorate the application and usage
of the product.
3. Mix the product to a workable consistency ready for application.
4. Apply to substrate with trowel and level off flat with trowel.
5. Allow to semi-dry before using a float and sponge to create required
finish. |

TRADITIONAL RENDER
can only be used as a thin filament coating e.g. Skimcoat Base Coating,
when Quickwall Polymer is added. 4 litres water/polymer solution
of 8:1 or a minimum of 500 mls of Quickwall Polymer per 20kg bag. |
Painting |
: |
Allow 48 hours for product to dry before painting
(under normal circumstances).
Paint with Quickwall Aquaseal Membrane paint or a high quality exterior
paint suitable for masonry surfaces.

Coverage |
: |
4 – 5 m2 is expected per bag depending
on the substrate and applicator. |

IS NOT SUITABLE AS A BASE COAT POLYSTYRENE SYSTEMS.
TRADITIONAL RENDER MUST BE APPLIED TO A MININUM OF 10mm.
